Project Summary — Metadata & Data Files

Header: Project Summary

The Project Summary is the metadata home page for the selected project. It gathers everything about how the project was set up and gives you direct access to the underlying result files.

It shows:

  • Hypothesis — the biological question the project was designed to answer.
  • Reports — any manuscript or report files (PDF/DOCX) attached to the project.
  • Contrasts — the list of Reference-vs-Target comparisons defined for the project.
  • Sample Annotation — the table of runs with their sample names, groups, and Treat/Control labels.
  • Data Files — the raw result files (TSV), each shown as a 📄 download button with its file size.

An Edit Project button reopens the project wizard so you can adjust the design (see Create a Project).

When to use it

Use Project Summary to review how a project was configured, download the underlying DESeq2 / enrichment / count files for offline analysis, or jump into Edit Project to change contrasts, samples, or the hypothesis.
